All of our poles are made from Southern Yellow Pine, and are kiln-dried before treatment to ensure the best possible protection against rot and insect damage. We can deliver our poles locally and out-of-state, and even ship them overseas via the port in Mobile, AL.
How CCA Works
The Ideal Material and an Unsurpassed Preservative
Treating wood with Wolman CCA preservative extends service life 10-20 times because after treatment the wood is no longer attractive as a food source to fungi and termites. This claim is backed by a 50-year limited warranty on Wolmanized CCA poles. We are one of only two companies in the country treating with the Brown Climbing Additive right now, which is an additive to the CCA process. It basically softens the pole, makes it easier to climb, easier to work on. Workers will be less likely to slip and fall.
Climbing Trials Show Lasting Value
Numbers below represent average combined scores for climbability, as given by linemen following climbing trials. Scores are based on a 1-10 scale, with 10 being the easiest to climb.
